Detection of scratches on the outer race surface

The LJ-V Series detects scratches on the top and side surfaces of outer races. Conventionally, these scratches were detected visually, but with the increase in the number of bearings produced, performing visual checks has become a large problem due to the associated labour cost. The idea of introducing image processing has also been proposed, but the way to capture images varies depending on the lighting settings, so it was difficult to perform detections under the same conditions. The LJ-V Series can measure the depth of scratches, so it enables measurements and judgements using the same conditions across multiple lines, which makes it possible to start up and operate lines smoothly.
