OCR function [NEW] |
With the OCR function, character recognition can be accomplished by just registering characters and specifying the area.
Both alphanumeric characters and user-defined characters can be identified.
The Auto calendar setting allows inspection of the date or lot numbers without the need for daily setting change. |
Identifying character types printed on IC |
| Auto calendar setting |
| Functions equivalent to those of dedicated OCR machines are available, including offset, tolerance, and zero-suppress settings. |
| Selectable cutout setting |
You can select whether to specify the cutout areas automatically or whether to fix the areas.
It is also possible to specify the ratio for the automatic area cutout setting. |
| Recognition level display |
| The level of successful character recognition is output for each character. You can check characters for which the recognition is unstable. |
| Simultaneous dictionary registration |
| In addition to alphanumeric characters, up to 20 user-defined characters (kanji, symbol, etc.) can be registered. |

Contrast conversion |
An image can be created by assigning optimum contrast to each area.
This function is useful to change the contrast according to inspection items, or to process images with non-uniform light distribution. |

Real-time Differential Processing |
A captured image is analysed in real time, and only subtle differences in the image can be extracted.
Such feature point extraction, which ignores the background, is effective for the inspection of foreign matters and flaws. |
