Static Elimination

World's Fastest Bar Type Static Eliminator (2.7 Times Faster than Conventional Ionizers)

For Full Details Download the PRODUCT CATALOG Using the SERVICE PULLDOWN Above.

High-speed static elimination in 0.15 seconds, 2.7 times faster than before
[World's Fastest]

The SJ-GL Series uses the highly recognised pulse AC method. In the conventional method, air is pushed forward to wrap around the electrode probe.
The newly developed electrode adds pressure resistance to push the surrounding air forward without loss. With this method, the air flow transporting ions is pushed forward twice as fast* as conventional methods to achieve the world's fastest static elimination speed.
* As of December 2006 for corona discharge static elimination bars, according to KEYENCE study.
Static Elimination Capacity

Surrounding air flows in through the slit
Surrounding air is guided without loss to increase the air flow transporting ions and improve the static elimination effectiveness.

Open setting for static elimination sensing

With the KEYENCE original I.C.C. method, the SJ-GL automatically controls the ion generation to reach the optimal state. There is no need to make complicated initial settings after installation or maintenance.

Outstanding uniformity of space and high ion balance

With the pulse AC method, the SJ-GL performs static elimination while maintaining uniformity of space. The I.C.C method provides further support to sustain high-precision ion balance.

With the pulse AC method, each electrode alternates between generating positive (+) and negative (-) ions.
This method helps to prevent a bias from forming in the local ion balance and preserves uniformity.

With a normal DC method, each electrode generates only positive or only negative ions, which creates a bias in the ion balance along the bar length.

Electrostatic charge monitor and built-in output function

The LED bar and external output are included as standard to display the amount of charge for positive (+) or negative (-) polarity that is sensed on the target. By sending a signal to a solenoid valve, the amount of consumed air can be reduced drastically.

Notice for optimal maintenance period

The built-in automatic diagnosis function constantly monitors the ion generation level. The bar LED display and alarm output provide warnings when maintenance is required.

Pulse AC method [ Pulse AC ]

Each electrode probe alternately applies high positive and negative voltage to generate ions for both polarities.
Compared to the conventional AC method, the amount of ions generated is higher and the oscillating frequency can be changed.
AC method

Therefore, the pulse AC method can be used in any circumstance from high-speed moving workpieces to static elimination of space.

I.C.C. method [ Ion Current Control ]

By sensing the ion current generated by the potential difference between the electrode probe and the amount of charge for a workpiece, this method performs calculations and controls the supplied ions based on the amount of charge to achieve rapid static elimination.
The I.C.C. method provides high-precision ion balance control for rapid and effective static elimination.
