Static Elimination Capacity

While maintaining excellent ion balance based on the proven sensing and feedback control system, the SJ-G Series has optimised the electrode probe shape and the air flow path. Thus, the SJ-G series enables static elimination at a speed 1.4 times faster than conventional static eliminators.

To take greater advantage of the characteristics of the proven pulse AC method *1, The SJ-G Series has optimised the electrode shape and the air flow path, enabling an ultra-high speed static elimination approximately 1.4 times faster than that of conventional static eliminators. (Under the maximum air supply pressure)

Ion level sensing function eliminates the necessity of initial setup.

Based on the KEYENCE original I.C.C. method *2, the SJ-G Series controls the ion emission level automatically so as to provide the optimum ion balance. This function can eliminate a troublesome initial setup process during installation or maintenance.

Excellent special uniformity and high ion balance
With the pulse AC method *1, the SJ-G Series enables static elimination while maintaining special uniformity. This method is always supported by the I.C.C. method *2 so that high precision ion balance can be maintained.
KEYENCE SJ-G
With the pulse AC method, each electrode emits positive and negative ions alternately. Therefore, this method always ensures special uniformity without local variations in the ion balance.
Conventional ionizer
With the general DC method, each electrode emits either positive or negative ions exclusively. Therefore, this method causes ion balance variations in the longitudinal direction of the bar.

The electrostatic charge monitor allows you to easily check electrostatic charges on the target.

The display panel is equipped with an electrostatic charge monitor. You can check the quantity and polarity of electrostatic charges on a target with the bar LEDs at a glance.

1 Pulse AC method [ Pulse AC ]

“Positive” and “negative” high voltages are applied alternatively to each electrode so that the electrode emits ions with both polarities. This method emits a larger quantity of ions than the general AC method and can change the oscillation frequency. Therefore, the pulse AC method provides excellent static elimination capacity under various conditions, from static elimination for a fast-moving target to static elimination in a space.

2 I.C.C. method [ Ion Current Control ]

The I.C.C. method calculates an electrostatic charge level on a target by sensing an ion current generated by the potential difference between the target and the electrode probe. This method can eliminate electrostatic charges rapidly by supplying ions according to the charge level. Thus, the I.C.C. method enables both high-precision ion balance control and rapid, effective static elimination performance.
