Ultra-high speed, high-precision A/D conversion unit
KV-AD40G [New]
The high-performance A/D conversion unit has achieved high-speed conversion and high-precision, and it comes with a 16-bit A/D converter.

The KV-AD40G comes with a 16-bit A/D converter, achieving the industry's highest-level resolution. It realize the delicate control.

Ultra-high precision ±0.05% of F.S. [Industry's highest-level precision]
KEYENCE has resolutely stuck to not only resolution improvement but also precision improvement of the A/D conversion unit. If resolution is high but precision is low, fetched data is unreliable. Using the KV-AD40G improves manufacturing quality and reliability of the inspection result.

Ultra-high speed conversion of 80 µs per channel* [Industry's highest-level speed]
Besides ultra-high precision and high resolution, the KV-AD40G has achieved high-speed conversion. When two channels are used, the KV-AD40G performs internal A/D conversion in a cycle of 80 µs. When four channels are used, it performs internal A/D conversion in a cycle of 160 µs. The KV-AD40G also has a built-in filter function. When the KV-AD40G is used in the same cycle that the conventional A/D conversion units are used, data reliability increases because the number of samplings increases.
* In two-channel mode, high-speed conversion of 80 µs every two channels is achieved. In four-channel mode, high-speed conversion of 160 µs every four channels is achieved. The time required to store data in the CPU unit is 160 µs, or it depends on each scan time of the CPU unit.

Reliability improvement through inter-channel insulation
The KV-AD40G isolates analog input of four channels every two channels, thereby preventing analog signal interference between devices.

Data buffering function [New]
The data buffering function can buffer data of a maximum of 10,000 points per channel in the A/D conversion unit. This enables you to acquire analog data without the scan time being affected.

When a trigger is input
When a trigger is input, data is buffered to the KV-AD40G, and then the buffered data is read from data memory in the CPU unit.

You can also insert a memory card into the CPU unit
