For device designers, the effective use of past design resources can be said to be a required item for reduction of delivery date. KV STUDIO realizes the ultimate reusability of ladder resources.

Script language and ladder language can be used in combination in the same program.

Dual language programming
Writing I/O control in ladder language and arithmetic processing and character string processing in script language enables you to create a simple program, reducing the time required for program design to debugging.

Conventional ladder
Script language enables you to write arithmetic processing and character string processing easily. Conversely, it is difficult for you to write these processes in ladder language. KV STUDIO provides more intuitive programming because it enables you to write both script language and ladder language in the same program. That is, KV STUDIO provides a new programming style in which ladder language complements processing that is difficult to write in ladder language.

A ladder can be split, designed, and managed by using structured programming.

"Local device" that enhances module reusability
Different from normal devices, a local device is a virtual device that can be used only in modules. To represent a local device, add @ to the beginning of it (example:@MR0). Correspondingly, the actual device common to all programs is called a "global device".
